Our Story
Our story began with Cheryl, a little known fact about her is when most children have an imaginary friend its a person. Cheryl could never be that easy, she had a zoo.
She was adamant she would work with animals when she was older.
For her 11th birthday, she received her first dog, Cookie, a lovable collie mix. Initially mistaking him for a guinea pig due to his playful noises, she quickly fell in love, and they formed an unbreakable bond.
Despite his fluffy appearance, Cookie had a working mindset, and Cheryl learned to train him with dedication. He became an expert at walking off-leash, even knowing how to cross roads safely. Wherever Cheryl went, Cookie was right by her side, jumping over 6 foot high fences just to be with her, proving that their connection was truly special. He died at 17, passing over the bridge a month before his birthday.
From him Cheryl and Aiden went on to own, rescue, train and rehabilitate numerous dogs. Cheryl started grooming. Being one of the first in Sheffield to offer grooming for reactive dogs she specialised in grooming dogs with nervous aggression.
Now they own the first dog gym in south Yorkshire.
